Elizabeth G. Adymy

Bio:

Elizabeth Adymy has practiced in the area of civil defense since her admission to the New York State Bar in 1994. She has represented clients in various areas of the law, including: medical malpractice, legal malpractice, professional disciplinary matters, employment law, premises liability, labor law liability, and the defense of §1983 civil rights actions brought by prisoners. Her primary focus has been appellate practice, and she has successfully advocated for clients before the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, Fourth Judicial Department; the New York State Court of Appeals; and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

Ms. Adymy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Faculty of Law and Jurisprudence. While a student at the law school, she was a member of the Buffalo Law Review and in her senior year was a Note and Comment Editor for that publication. Since her graduation, Ms. Adymy has assisted UB law students in various ways, including participating in a program designed to sharpen students’ resume and interview skills, and acting as a judge in the school’s research and writing program. Ms. Adymy has also remained active in the local community, where she has participated in the Lawyers for Learning tutoring program at School 18 in the City of Buffalo. She is presently a grader for the New York State Bar Exam
